Cadets Boating Trip

20 June 2013 - The combined cadet force recently had a fantastic once in a lifetime opportunity to go aboard a yacht and learn all about the sailing at sea.  After a detailed safety briefing, the cadets all got involved in learning about navigation at sea and how to determine their location using triangulation methods with a compass.

The cadets really enjoyed themselves especially when it came to swimming in the sea, steering the boat and learning to put up the sails.
